ISSN 1746-8256 (Online)

The IJDC publishes research papers, general articles and brief reports on digital curation, research data management and related issues. It complements the International Conference on Digital Curation (IDCC) and includes selected proceedings as Conference Papers.

IJDC is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal. All content is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, unless otherwise stated. There are no fees to access or publish in the journal.

 


Aims & Scope

Articles address policy, strategic, operational, experimental, infrastructural, or tool-based aspects of the management, curation, and preservation of digital data and other objects of value to research, cultural heritage, or society in general. The IJDC is open to submissions of various types of article listed below, and considers them for potential publication if they meet review criteria set out below under Editorial and Peer Review Guidelines.

 


Governance & Ownership

IJDC is owned and governed by the journal editors. Copyright to papers published within the journal issues are owned by their respective authors under Creative Commons licenses. The journal is published by the University of Edinburgh – a charitable body. Edinburgh Diamond – a service based within the University of Edinburgh Library – acts as the Publishing Partner by providing publishing services.

Publication Frequency

IJDC is published once per year on a rolling basis, with each issue normally opening in August or September.
